Can This Piece Be Saved?

Things aren't always as bad as they look.  Admittedly, this piece had seen better days before it was rescued (from a dumpster!)

As noted on Design*Sponge, Andrea simply cleaned up the rust, then used spray paint to turn it into something delightful!

Don't you love it with that rug?

  1. Are you sure that's the same chair! :) You must be sooo proud of that and it was so rusty that I didn't even see the design until I saw the after photo. That is AWESOME!!

  3. Oh dear. As I mentioned in the post, this is an example I found on Design*Sponge (click on the photos to go to the original post on that site) and not my own work. This is the kind of work I aspire to do, true trash to treasure, and an extreme example of what a fresh coat of paint can do.

  4. there is a rust remover product that gets rid of rust, a light sanding & wipe down , your ready to spray .
