Vision

"The real voyage of discovery

consists not in seeking new landscapes

but in having new eyes."

Marcel Proust

Here is what I like to call "the bird that launched a thousand projects":

Horrible, right?

What attracted me wasn't the fine decorative painting, of course, but the shape.  I didn't know what I would do with it but I saw potential.

Yep, definitely at least 80 cents worth of potential.
Do you see it?

One day I was at ArtMart looking at scrapbooking paper and I saw lovely large sheets with birds on branches.  I traced the bird onto the lovely paper, cut it out and glued it on.

Perfect!
